So I’ve been starting to wonder if there is such thing as fate/destiny or something like that: 

Usually my thoughts on this stuff is more along the lines of this:

Now as you know, I hung out with my friend who I have conflicting feelings for on Wednesday: 

And he said some things that have got those conflicting feelings even more conflicted:

And have caused some of my friends to go like this:

And then the whole idea of fate and destiny came into my mind yesterday when I found out some things that blew my mind: 

Now as you may not know, my grandma and his grandma grew up together and were pretty friendly. My mom’s side of the family and his mom’s side of the family know each other fairly well. I knew this since we first met and my reaction was like this:

To most this would be understated, but I live in Rhode Island where this is common practice:

NOW here’s where it gets weird:

Yesterday, I come to find out that my dad and his dad went to high school together: 

And they knew each other well enough that his dad signed my dad’s yearbook (they went to a huge high school, keep in mind):

And now I’m all like this:

I’m not completely insane, right? Because I seriously am wondering….like it’s freaking me out wondering.

It all started with when I was hanging out with my friend being goofballs together. After seeing the Red Sox score being 9-1, I was like this:

So I text my Yankee fan friend whom I have conflicting feelings about about my frustrations and he responds with some lulz and then asking how I’ve been and we’re all like this: 

Then he suggests that we need to hang out soon and I was like this: 

So we made plans to hang out on Wednesday. On the outside, I tried to come across as this:

On the inside, I’m all like: 

And my friends are all like: 

When we get to the hanging out, we’re all like: 

But then we start talking about our lack of love lives and I’m all like: 

And then he says something to the tune of he’d be willing to date me and I’m like:

At the end of the day, we head our separate ways and before we go, we’re all like: 

On the car ride home, I’m all like:
