Operation: Good Note (I can’t think of a good name right now)
Okay I just had this idea when I was out driving. Around Christmas time, when I worked at Dunkin Donuts, there were occasions of people randomly paying for the person behind them as a good deed. This is a great idea and pretty cool…though some of the looks on other people’s faces are hilariously priceless when they realize they’d been paid for. I was also inspired by my friend Steph who did such a thing a few days ago. So I began to think and I decided I wanted to do something as a social experiment/good deed.
On New Year’s Day, I’m going to visit a few drive-thrus. I’ll get some small stuff and all but then I’ll go and pay for the person in front of me. Maybe even a grocery store.
The reason I want to do this on New Year’s Day is because, well, it’s a new year. Some people could’ve possibly had a shitty 2011 or maybe had a good one but aren’t so sure if 2012 will go their way. This will hopefully help at least SOME people begin their new year on a happy note. I think everybody deserves to begin their new year on a good note…except for the pinnacle of all evil folks…you know the ones.
So, does anybody else want to try to do this with me? All you gotta do is just go through a Drive-Thru/grocery store checkout and then say to them “I’m gonna pay for the folk behind me” and then well…there ya go! :D You don’t have to, of course, but it’d be fun. Just reblog this mofo and spread the word if you feel like it.
So who’s in?
